What size do most men wear?
Jewellers who publish their order data report that most men wear a US 9 to 12, with 10 the single most common size. A 10 is 19.76 mm across the inside, UK T½ and EU 62. Ring fingers on the dominant hand often run a quarter to half size larger, and knuckles grow with age, so measure the hand and finger you will wear it on.
A size 12 and up is usual for larger hands and for thumb rings; sizes 7 to 8 suit pinky rings and slimmer fingers. Signet rings are often worn on the little finger, which is typically two to three sizes smaller than the ring finger.
