Using the Site
RingSizerChart (the “Site”) is a free web utility operated by RingSizerChart (“we”, “us”) and available worldwide. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You may use the tools and tables for personal, educational and commercial work, including at a jewellery counter or bench, and print the sizers for your own use.
Please do not scrape the Site in bulk, republish its tables as your own, interfere with its operation, or tamper with or obscure its advertising.
Accuracy and safety
The sizes are worked out from published standards and size guides and checked, but they are a reference, not a fitting. On-screen measurement depends on your calibration, display and browser zoom; printed sizers depend on your printer scaling. Carat-to-millimetre sizes are estimates at stated proportions, necklace drops come from a geometric model, and PD readings are not an eye examination.
- Before buying a ring that cannot be resized (tungsten, ceramic, eternity bands, smart rings), confirm the size with the seller's own gauge or sizing kit.
- Sellers' size charts take priority over ours for their own products.
- Prescription glasses: your optician's measurements take priority over any PD you measure yourself.
No warranty
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for resizing or return costs, ill-fitting purchases, lost profits or data, arising from your use of or reliance on the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits, and nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Content and trademarks
Dimensional values from public standards are facts, and you are free to use them. The Site's design, drawings, sizers, text, code and the RingSizerChart name and mark belong to us. Standard designations (ISO, BS, JCS) and product names such as Oura, Samsung Galaxy Ring and Ultrahuman belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify what the data refers to; no endorsement is implied.
Third-party services
The Site uses third parties for hosting and analytics (Cloudflare) and advertising (Google AdSense). Their terms and privacy policies govern their services. Ads are provided by third parties and are not endorsements. See our privacy policy for what this means for your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
