Three paper sizers drawn in real millimetres: a strip that wraps round your finger and reads your US size, a sheet of ring circles from size 3 to 13 to lay a ring on, and a pupillary distance ruler in normal and mirror versions. Paper needs no screen calibration, only a printer set to 100%.

  1. 01ScalePrint at 100% or “Actual size”. Turn off “Fit to page”.
  2. 02PaperLetter or A4, portrait. Margins 10 mm or less.
  3. 03CheckThe check ruler must read exactly 100 mm and 4 in.
  4. 04StripCut out, cut the slot, wrap snug past the knuckle, read the size at the slot.
  5. 05CirclesLay a ring that fits on the circles: the one that meets its inside edge is your size.
